Editorial Policy and Research Standards
How we produce, review, label, update, and correct financial-market information across Rusaka Markets.
Publisher: Rusaka Technologies Private Limited | Last reviewed:
1. Purpose and coverage
This policy applies to public market pages, company information, charts, daily market intelligence, research resources, guides, insights, calculations, and AI-assisted research published by Rusaka Markets. It explains our standards; it does not turn educational information into personalised investment advice.
2. Source hierarchy and attribution
We prefer primary, named, and time-stamped sources: exchanges and regulators, statutory filings, issuer disclosures, central banks, government publications, and contracted market data providers. Reputable news organisations, research publications, and public datasets may supply additional context. Material claims should identify the source or methodology where practical, and market values should show their applicable time or reporting period.
Third-party data can be delayed, revised, incomplete, or unavailable. We do not present a missing observation as a verified zero. Readers should confirm time-sensitive information with the original exchange, issuer, regulator, or provider before acting.
3. Information labels and review
- Market data reports sourced values and timestamps without implying a recommendation.
- Factual reporting describes attributable events or disclosures.
- Analysis explains interpretation, assumptions, scenarios, and limitations.
- Opinion is identified as opinion and attributed to its author.
- Sponsored or affiliate content must be disclosed and cannot purchase a favourable conclusion.
Research pages should identify their author or responsible research team, review status, update date, sources, methodology, and relevant limitations. Significant analytical content receives a reasonableness and source review before publication. Automated checks supplement, but do not replace, editorial judgement.
4. AI, model output, and prediction-market context
AI output is research assistance, not an autonomous trading instruction. Model-generated summaries may contain errors and should be checked against cited evidence. Prediction-market probabilities are supplementary sentiment signals: they do not verify that an event occurred, forecast it with certainty, or constitute a trading signal. Where these tools are used, the visible page should label their role and limitations.
5. Updates, corrections, and archived information
Live and end-of-day values may update independently from explanatory text. Material research changes should update the visible review date. When we identify a material factual error, we correct it promptly and, where the context requires it, explain the correction. Archived reports preserve their original cut-off and should not be read as current market data.
Report a suspected error through Contact Us with the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting source. We assess corrections on evidence, not on whether a conclusion is commercially favourable.
6. Editorial independence and conflicts
Commercial relationships, subscriptions, referrals, advertising, or access to an issuer do not guarantee coverage or control a research conclusion. Relevant material relationships should be disclosed on the applicable page. Employees and contributors must not knowingly use confidential information or conceal a conflict that could reasonably affect readers' interpretation.
7. Reader responsibilities and related policies
Rusaka Markets provides financial information and educational research, not personalised financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Read the Research Disclaimer, Important Notices, and Privacy Policy. Our public reports and methodologies and daily market intelligencedemonstrate how these standards are applied.
